Remembering Wholeness

A one-day wellness retreat to step out of performance and return to yourself.

Slow down, come back to yourself, and remember what wholeness feels like.

You’re not alone.

Executives, creatives, nonprofit leaders, quiet caretakers, overcommitted visionaries. They’re all whispering the same thing: I’m tired. I’m full. I’m fraying at the edges.

Somewhere between the meetings, the mission, and the messaging, your body began to fade from the room.

What’s being asked of us lately, online and offline, is not just productivity, it’s performance. We’re required to be always composed, always insightful, always “okay.”

You’ve been showing up for others for so long, you’ve forgotten what it feels like to show up for yourself. You’re doing your best, holding it all together, but the fatigue, the disconnection, the quiet ache for something slower and more rooted… it doesn’t go away.

This retreat is for you.

An invitation to breathe again…

Remembering Wholeness is a one-day wellness retreat for nonprofit leaders, caregivers, and purpose-driven individuals who have been carrying a lot and may be ready to reconnect with their own rhythm.

It’s not a workshop, and it’s not a performance. It’s a quiet, guided space to reflect, move, eat, rest, and listen to what your body and spirit have been trying to tell you.

You’ll walk away with…

  • A clearer sense of what well-being actually means for you

  • A rhythm-based framework for restoring your energy and attention

  • A custom Quilombo Wellness Deck to guide your personal journey

  • Time for reflection, journaling, peer conversation, and solo rest

  • Nourishing, locally sourced food

  • A small group of good people holding space together

  • An optional 1:1 follow-up coaching session (included in your registration)

Why This Retreat? Why Now?

Because the façade is heavy and because even when life looks good on paper, something inside still feels off. Because no one should need a breakdown to justify taking a breath.

You don’t need to explain your weariness, and you don’t have to perform your healing. You’re allowed to come as you are.

Most “wellness” offerings feel like just another thing to achieve, another way to optimize, to fix, to prove you’re doing the work. But what so many of us are quietly naming is: Me too! I need somewhere I don’t have to perform.”

Remembering Wholeness was born from that collective longing.

It’s a space built around slowness, dignity, and rhythm, not pressure, performance, or perfection. Rooted in my training as a certified wellness coach (Mayo Clinic) and grounded in six core dimensions of well-being: movement, nutrition, sleep, stress, connection, and habits.

This retreat is designed to meet you exactly where you are and gently guide you from there. No lectures, no spotlight, no fixing.

Just honest space to remember your way back to yourself.

Is this retreat right for me?

Do I need to be burned out to attend?

Not at all. You don’t need to be in crisis to need care. This retreat is for anyone who feels drawn to something gentler.

What if I’m doing “okay,” but still feel off?

Many of us are holding it together on the outside while something inside feels stretched thin. If you're longing for rest, reflection, or reconnection, you’re in the right place.

I’m not sure I can “justify” a whole day away.

That’s precisely why this retreat exists. You don’t need a breakdown to earn rest. You don’t have to perform your way into healing.

What if I want to be quiet and not talk much?

Beautiful. There’s space for silence, solitude, and soft presence. You’ll never be asked to share more than feels true for you.

Is this space inclusive?

Yes. All genders, bodies, and backgrounds are welcome. This retreat is grounded in dignity, listening, and respect.
